Creating and Empowering Inclusive Leadership
No matter what size your company is, creating a culture of inclusive leadership can bring out the best in your team members and improve employee participation and retention. Leading with inclusion creates an environment where everyone’s unique strengths are recognized, valued and amplified.
Here are three ways company leaders can facilitate the essential skills and behaviors needed to create an inclusive work environment. By embracing these principles, leaders and managers can foster a culture of respect, open communication, and positive interactions that contribute to the overall success of the business.
Lead by Example
Inclusive leadership begins with leading by example. Whether a person is a CEO or a team leader, leaders must model the behavior they wish to see in their team and the overall organization.
