COHAP & Partners Annual Back to School Bash Festival & Job Fair

?For 2026, we are expanding our efforts to serve more than 3,000 children and families, making this one of Houston's largest Back-to-School community events. In addition to school readiness resources, the event will feature a Community Job Fair designed to connect job seekers with employers, workforce training programs, and career development opportunities.

The event will include:

• Distribution of backpacks and school supplies
• Free haircuts, shoes, and socks
• Hygiene kits and essential resources
• Scholarship giveaways for graduating students
• Health, wellness, and financial literacy resources
• Community Job Fair and workforce development opportunities
• Educational resources for families
• Live family-friendly entertainment and community engagement activities
