Equal Opportunity is the Law
Workforce Solutions, in accordance with the law and as a recipient of Federal financial assistance, prohibits discrimination on the following bases:

Resolving and Documenting Complaints

    • Listen carefully to the customer to determine exactly the nature of his or her complaint.
    • Try to resolve the complaint yourself – if the customer is not satisfied, refer him or her to your supervisor or office manager.
    • If a supervisor or office manager is unable to satisfy a customer, then refer him or her to us at the Gulf Coast Workforce Board.
    • The customer may use our current complaint form or provide the information we request on the complaint form in a letter, email or telephone call.

Remember:

  • The Board can only work with complaints about service in our system, including discrimination complaints about being denied a benefit or service by Workforce Solutions.
  • Take payday and unpaid wages complaints in your office using the Workforce Commission’s forms and forward to TWC.
  • Refer individuals complaining about discrimination at a particular employer, including Americans with Disabilities Act related issues, to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) 1919 Smith, 6th Floor, Houston, TX 77002 1.800.669.4000 toll free or 713.209.3320 and EEOC
  • Log all complaints using the Workforce Solutions complaint log.
